Reactions from the audience

" From the first movement on, I couldn't restrain my tears. I understood every move, every symbolic reference, every expression. As I am a partner from an ex breast cancer patient this perfomance touched me very deeply. I can still not talk about it without getting emotional."

" True, emphatic, daring, subtle and unbelievably courageous"

" very touching performane, dance and music lift each other up"

Gratis Walhalla

Niet Helemaal - A performance by Gratis Walhalla

Created by Arnoud Rigter en Hanne Schillemans

This is a dutch spoken performance with dance and poetry. No english translation available

African Loop

‘African loops’ is an intimate, interdisciplinary duet between by a cellist and a dancer.

Longing for contact, help and affection she carefully but consistently approaches him. Who will be dominant, who is the puppet master? The carousel never stops turning, until it does...

Cello: Artem Shmahaylo of Herwig Coryn

Music: Dirk Brossé

Time-lapse

In performance ‘Time-lapse,’ drummer Johan Reijnders enters in to a dialogue with dancer Hanne Schillemans.  Guided by their intuition they travel trough an unknown, surrealistic landscape which is coloured by subtle drums, percussion and electronics.  From grotesque to minimalistic, from serenety to complete chaos. A romantic and adventurous trip.  The performers allow themselves to get inspired by each other, by the environment, by the audience and by the moment. The impetuous emotions are bringing the space to life.

Madammen

Madames, you know them all.

Well-mannered, settled and distinguished

Aiming to fall into society’s grace

Though they never escaped their own dreams

Hiding behind decency and everyday things

Are the sneaky desires to the sins they’ve never committed
